Michelle Harvey

Michelle first got involved with Young Life as a freshman at the University of Oregon. During her time at the U of O she was a volunteer leader and later went on Student Staff, with YL while receiving her Bachelors Degree in Education. After graduating in 2014 she went on full time staff with Eugene Young Life before moving to Eagle in 2017 to be on Staff with West Ada Young Life. She is currently the Area Director for North West Ada and loves all things, Oregon Ducks, water sports, snowboarding and watching leaders and students lean into their unique designs as they learn of a God who loves them and designed them on purpose, for a purpose. Her favorite part of Young Life is sharing the full life Jesus offers, not only in a way that makes sense to middle school and high school students, but also makes them feel safe, heard and known in the process.

Liana McCain

Liana has been a part of Young Life since high school. After graduating in 2010, she pursued art school and non-profit internships before moving from Southern California to Lincoln, Nebraska with her now husband, Brian, in 2013. It was in Lincoln that she was reintroduced to Young Life, became a leader, and later joined staff. Life has moved her family from Nebraska, back to California, to Salt Lake City, back to Nebraska, and ultimately here to Idaho. Liana is currently team leading at Rocky Mountain High School, with Brian volunteer leading alongside her, and helping the area with camp and other administration tasks. She loves empowering others to lead well and enjoys those moments where the Gospel just “clicks” for students. You can catch her at Rocky events alongside Brian and their daughter, Emery.
