Michelle Harvey
Co-Area Director
Michelle first got involved with Young Life as a freshman at the University of Oregon. During her time at the U of O she was a volunteer leader and later went on student staff with YL while receiving her Bachelors Degree in Education. After graduating in 2014, she went on full time staff with Eugene Young Life before moving to Eagle in 2017 to be on staff with West Ada Young Life. She is currently the Area Director for North West Ada and loves all things Oregon Ducks, water sports, snowboarding, and watching leaders and students lean into their unique design as they learn of a God who loves them and created them on purpose, for a purpose. Her favorite part of Young Life is sharing the full life Jesus offers, not only in a way that makes sense to middle school and high school students, but also makes them feel safe, heard and known in the process.

Zak Porter
Co-Area Director
Zak is married to his wonderful wife, Amy, and we has three kids: Rory (6), June (5), and Grady (2). Before stepping into full-time ministry, he spent six years as a math teacher and three years as an assistant principal in West Ada. In May 2023, God opened the door to start Skatelife while he was still serving in the school district. Last year, he stepped away from education to follow where God was leading and oversee Skatelife full time while helping expand Young Life ministry throughout West Ada. In this next season, he will continue leading Skatelife while helping launch Capernaum and Young Lives in West Ada. He will also oversee the incredible team of volunteers serving at Mountain View Young Life.

Coby Dotterer
Operations Director
Coby is married to her amazing husband, Elias, who also serves as a Young Life leader at Centennial. Together, they have two kiddos: Charlotte (18 months) and Callum (2 months). Coby first discovered Young Life while attending Boise State and actually began her own relationship with Jesus through Young Life during her freshman year of college. She has been involved ever since! After serving as a volunteer leader at Centennial High School for four years, Coby joined staff about a year ago and is grateful for the opportunity to continue investing in students in a new way. With a background in administration and events, Coby loves a good spreadsheet and especially loves seeing how an event or gathering can create space for people to connect, feel known, and experience community.
